Agnus Dei Communications started with a small group of individuals who shared a desire to bring Catholic radio to the Billings area. The group incorporated in 2007 and following the promptings of the Holy Spirit, they tirelessly pursued the purchase of a broadcast frequency to launch a Catholic Radio station. Miraculously, the opportunity to acquire a broadcast license became available and in February of 2011 an agreement for the purchase and transfer was made.
Billings Catholic Radio, KJCR began broadcasting a full-power 1000 watt AM station and FM translator in March of 2011. The call letters, KJCR stand for Jesus Christ our Redeemer, chosen as a reminder of whom we serve.

The daily operations of Billings Catholic Radio would not be possible without the help of Volunteers. You can find them helping in the office on a daily basis, updating our website, and providing their voices for announcements on the station. We are blessed with special studio help during the Ram Sports season. And, we couldn't offer those special events without the help of the many hands who volunteer.
